Just FYI there are many Healthy Energy Drinks on the market today. Monster, Rockstar, Red Bull now offer many sugar free options. There a also many new companies entering the market, like FRS that offer healthy energy drinks.

A wonderful discovery I made was sublingual B-12 tablets. I take one every morning, and if I find myself losing energy as the day progresses, I take another. More of the vitamin gets into your system than if you take the tablets.

I enjoy having a Back To Nature energy bar. It does not have any High fructose corn syrup, trans fat or soy. Very natural and the right amount of sweetness from cane sugar.

A protein bar or shake with help with the sluggish & sleepy feeling. Be sure to include water (add a powdered protein packet) to help with hydration.

I've got the same problem, sometimes I fall asleep.

My natural-path suggested snacking on nuts and things high in protein throughout the afternoon, mostly before the time I usually get sleepy.

Fruit is good but it will heighten the blood sugars, then you'll crash again once the sugar wears off.

Unsalted nuts have become my best friend and protein during lunch (lean meats or eggs) help.

It has worked really well.

I usually drink some water because I get tired when I am dehydrated. If I still feel hungry I reach for a bag of soy crisps or fruit.

Fresh fruit is good too! Or a tablespoon or nuts. If you can get away from your desk for a few minutes and take a quick walk.
