"how many fat chinese people have you seen?" Alot. Look up "growing obesity problem in China" with a larger middle class in China and the westernization of foods, the simplistic veggie dishes are becoming more processed and turning, literally, into the American version of what we think is Chinese food. People in China are also able to afford foods now that dont malnourish them. China was considered a skinny country because half of them used to not be able to eat!! Long and short version; eat the veggiessteamed hold the sauces.

no you cannot eat chinese and maintain a diet. all those chemicals will bloat you up. If you want to lose weight, don't eat take out. Eat fresh vegetables and grilled chicken. it doesnt taste as good as chinese food but looking good is more important. always.

I've lost so much weight just eating whatever I feel up for, I just focus on actually chewing my food slowly, savoring the flavors, and taking my time eating less. Get in the mindset that you don't need to sample everything in front of you; there will be plenty of other oppurtunities for you to eat again! My main focus is how many calories I'm eating and I tend to sway towards more natural items rather than fried/processed foods.

you can order steamed beef, chicken, tofu, and eat it with steamed vegetables and brown rice. a nutritionist told me that you can use 1-2 tbsp. of garlic sauce on the side. another idea is steamed vegetable dumplings.

I go to a buffet that offers a chef cooking your meals on a large slab. Therefore I take all the veggies I want, I add some lo mein noddles and the sauce that I want and depending on the day chicken or seafood, very little of that. I really pile on the veggies. I also heard the wontons (not the fried ones) are a good bet too.
