Finding Time to Exercise?
Esther, a Glenny’s Fan, asks:
If you’re like me your calendar is booked through New Year’s with parties, shopping excursions, family gatherings, and other seasonal activities. I can’t find any time to exercise. Does anyone have any tips to help me manage my exercise schedule during the holidays,, so I don’t fall out of my routine?

Got something to say?

Same here! But, while the holidays may disrupt your regular exercise routine, there are still some simple ways to get your fitness fix. As always, some exercise is better than none (although 20 minutes of cardio interval training most days of the week is best). So try to squeeze in as much as you can!
The way I do it, is to get up a little earlier. Set your alarm earlier than usual and do a short workout right away in the morning. Exercise will help energize you for the busy day ahead; plus, doing your exercise routine first thing in the morning makes it less likely that other things will interfere.
Good luck!
I personally can’t always make it to the gym so I have a few workout tapes on hand to do at home. It is a good way to squeeze it in without having to rush to the gym.
